Chief Investment Officer & Co-Founder

As Chief Investment Officer, Phil coordinates the focus and objectives of the company's development, leasing, asset management, and property management developments.
Mr. Polich has been the Chief Executive in charge of building, selling and closing over 30,000 homes in California, Arizona, Texas and Missouri. In addition, the companies he has been involved with have developed over 50,000 lots and a number of Master Planned Communities and Golf Courses.
Phil’s prior positions include the ownership of his own private companies, as well as being the Chairman, President and CEO of Emerald Home MLP (NYSE) and Division President of the Dietz Crane Division of DR Horton Inc. (NYSE).
Mr. Polich was also a founding director of American Southwest Financial which was one of the original mortgage securitization entities founded in the late 1980’s. It issued billions of dollars of securities through it and its affiliate companies, working with major underwriters including, Goldman Sachs, Solomon Brothers, First Boston, Prudential Securities, Morgan Stanley and a number of others.
Phil was the founding Chairman of Homplex Mortgage (NYSE). This company came about because of his experience in working with major underwriters in New York. The company ultimately became Meritage Homes (NYSE) after Phil sold his ownership.
